Western Tennessee – Enjoy the Mississippi River

There are many areas within the state of Tennessee that you might consider enjoyable on vacation. Fuller and Reelfoot Lake. You might be surprised with all of the different options that are available in those areas, and each of them can certainly take up a single vacation. Take the time to visit each one, even if it means coming back to the state of Tennessee multiple times.

When it comes to the amount of area that you will have to explore, the parks are over 40,000 acres in total. The bike and hiking trails are available throughout the parks, and you will have more than 40 miles of opportunities to get out there and get active. That isn’t even to mention the pavilions and picnic tables that are great for getting together with family and friends.

Of course, the Mississippi River corridor is not only about being with family, many people prefer to have a little bit of solitude when they are on vacation as well. If there is one thing that the state of Tennessee has to offer, it is the opportunity to get away from it all. Take your time beside a mountain lake or stream, go fishing or rent a boat. These are great options for those who want to unwind and recharge their batteries.
